
REGLEMENT et INSCRIPTIONS
Art. 1 GOAL
- Dedicated to International Earth Day on 22 avril, the objective of the competition is to stimulate the execution and composition of works dedicated to Nature and to raise awareness, by the beauty of music, participants and listeners to ecological issues.
Art. 2 GENERALITES
- For instrumentalists of all levels, chamber music sets, singers and composers
- No age limit
- Open to the public
Art. 3 LIEU
- The 10th international competition “Music and Earth” will take place at La Bouvêche d´Orsay, the 11 and 12 avril 2026
ART. 4 REPERTOIRE
- For instrumentalists, singers and ensembles : performance of two works, including at least one dedicated to Nature (for example "the swan" of Saint-Saëns, "Sad Birds" by Ravel, Szymanowski's "Arethuse Fountains" ...) or a country (for example "Russian Fantasy" by Portnoff, “Romanian dances” by Bartók…) Two copies of the scores must be given to the jury at the time of the performance.
If the benefit should exceed 15 minutes, the jury allows itself the right to listen to only part of the program.
- For composers : a work inspired by Nature or by ecological problems.
The works must be original. Arrangements of existing pieces are not accepted. The work can be performed by musicians chosen by the composer or presented on a CD medium.
The scores must be sent no later than 2 avril 2026 by email : amt.association@yahoo.fr and brought in 2 copies (support papier) the day of the competition.
Art. 5 INSCRIPTIONS
- Registration deadline : 2 avril 2026.

Art. 6 ACCOMMODATION
- Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the candidates.
Accommodation with a host family is possible on request made during registration and subject to availability..
Art. 7 PRICE
- Total prizes awarded : 2000 euros. Special prices.
Art. 8 JURY
- The jury is made up of renowned musical personalities. Its decisions are final.
Art. 9 MASTER CLASS
- The competition offers a master class offered by the members of the jury. Not open to the public.
Art. 10 COMMUNICATION
- The association "Friends of Music and the Earth" reserves the right to use, free of charge and without present or future consideration, the image (photo, video and audio recording) participants for communication and advertising purposes in any medium whatsoever.
Art. 11 REGISTRATION
- The competition services may be broadcast by radio, television or internet. They can be recorded in order to carry out editions on various media (CD, DVD, etc). The candidates give in to the association "Les Amis de la Musique et de la Terre” the right to fix, reproduce and have their performance reproduced on any medium, as well as to distribute them by any means and in the whole world.
Art. 12 GALA CONCERT
- The winners must participate in the Gala concert. Stage outfit desired.
Art. 13 RESPONSIBILITY
- The organizer cannot incur any liability if, in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control, he had to cancel, postpone or modify the conditions of participation of the competition.
Art. 14 ENGAGEMENT
- Participation in this competition involves, from the candidates, full and complete acceptance of these rules.
